THE FARM
|
The CASA VILLARA farmhouse is in LIGURIA, in the province of LA SPEZIA.
The house nestles amidst the hills of the Val di Vara and is a mere
twenty minutes from the Cinque Terre. It is surrounded by conifer and
chestnut woods and is 200 metres above sea level.
Giovanna Simonelli runs the 7-hectare organic farm that produces its own wine
and olive oil, has a chestnut grove, fruit orchard and vegetable garden and raises
bees and farmyard animals.
Recreational activities include: Cookery courses, guided walks,
archery, guided talks on farm activities, horse stabling, swimming pool (2 kms),
horse riding (4 kms), the River Vara (1.5 Km) and the Riviera coast (20 kms).
